They did it and landed the triathlon gold team medal at the Island Games in Gibraltar, lead home by rising star Megan Chapple with her outstanding silver medal at her debut Games. It was a nail biting time as Jersey consolidated their position on the run portion of the race – cramp struck Amy Critchlow forcing her to concede her bronze medal position, Emily Squire’s lower leg injury forced her to stop, but it was Chantal Green’s stoic determination that brought them home.
